About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Therapist to join our team as a Specialist Occupational Therapist in our Children & Young People's Services mental health inpatient service.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert occupational therapy knowledge and skills to young people with complex mental health needs. Your leadership and clinical supervision expertise will support the development of our team members and ensure high-quality care is delivered.

The ideal candidate will have a recognized occupational therapy degree/qualification, HCPC registration, and post-registration training relevant to the role. A strong understanding of professional accountability and local/national initiatives is essential.

In this rewarding position, you will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to devise care and treatment plans that meet the occupational needs of young people. You will also contribute to regular CPD events, share your expertise, and participate in training delivery.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialist occupational therapy services to young people with complex mental health needs
  • Lead and supervise a team of occupational therapists and other staff
  • Contribute to care and treatment planning with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff
