Nursery Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursery Manager to join our team at Peninsula East Primary Academy. As a Nursery Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities:

• To lead and manage a team of childcare professionals in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
• To develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the welfare and safety of children.
• To work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the effective management of the nursery.
• To maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the nursery.
• To provide a safe and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
• To work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

Requirements:

• Hold a relevant Level 6 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
• Have previous experience of managing a nursery or similar setting.
• Be an excellent communicator with strong leadership and management skills.
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team and lead by example.
• Have a thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and other relevant regulations.
• Be able to maintain accurate records and reports.
