About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to join our team at Peninsula East Primary Academy.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a similar setting, with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To hold one of the following qualifications: QTS, EYTS or EYPS or a relevant Level 6 degree.
  • Previous experience managing a similar setting.
  • Excellent communicator at all levels.
  • Ability to organise own work and that of others, identify priorities and meet outcomes.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating high levels of drive, enthusiasm and passion with proven ability to motivate others.
  • Excellent written communication with ability to produce and evaluate reports.
  • Up to date knowledge of EYFS framework and other relevant regulations.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding children.
  • Proven success in managing provision and innovative teaching across the Early Years Foundation Stage.

This is a permanent opportunity working Term Time + 1 week inset, 34.75 hours per week and offers an actual salary of £19,217 - £23,949 per annum (£23,893 - £29,777 full-time equivalent), based on experience.
