This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality care to patients with neurological conditions.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, including those with complex needs and those requiring specialized care.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including consultants, registrars, junior doctors, and therapists, to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to neurosurgical care.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills in neurosurgical nursing.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in neurosurgical nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of neurosurgical nursing practices and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
