Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Preventative Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Finning International. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance servicing on heavy mobile plant equipment, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough machine inspections to identify potential issues and develop corrective action plans.
  • Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required, utilizing your technical expertise and knowledge of heavy equipment systems.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a related engineering or maintenance role, preferably in the heavy equipment or plant industry.
  • Formal training or certification in a relevant field, such as heavy equipment repair or maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of heavy equipment systems, including engines, hydraulics, powertrains, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
