The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering exciting and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire secondary students to reach their full potential
  • Monitoring and assessing students' progress and keeping regular records of secondary students' academic performance
  • Creating a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learning
  • Collaborating with school management, teaching staff, and parents to provide quality academic support for secondary students
  • Preparing and participating in school-related activities such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings
  • Adhering to safeguarding policies and promoting the welfare of all children
  • Using a variety of effective classroom management strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learning environment

The ideal candidate will have:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Degree in a relative field - A Subject of Specialism
  • A recognized qualification in teaching, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Education or any relevant field
  • Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students
  • Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in class
  • Ability to adapt teaching styles to facilitate different learning styles
  • A passion for teaching and making a difference in students' lives
