Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team in the Wyre Borough. The successful candidate will assist in the daily operations of a busy housing development, working closely with a highly experienced Site Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Site Manager to take ownership of agreed build programs at pre-start meetings.
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are strictly adhered to, conforming to building regulations and warranty providers' requirements.
  • Assist with cost-effective production in line with development budgets.
  • Organize site meetings and pre-plans to ensure efficient usage of all resources.
  • Update production/progress returns and send them to the Contracts Manager.
  • Maintain site security and good practice at all times.
  • Manage stock control in accordance with build requirements.
  • Evaluate quality meets Company and warranty expectations.
  • Supervise cranes and conduct home tours and demonstrations.
  • Ensure air testing is carried out and units passed.
  • Accompany build inspectors during CML checks.
  • Carry out monthly meter readings.
  • Handle handovers to clients/purchasers/customers.
  • Address customer care queries and defect works post-handover.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience delivering new-build housing developments.
  • Able to motivate teams and subcontractors.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation.
  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates.
Benefits:
  • A competitive salary (£40,000 - £60,000 depending on level of experience) + package including car allowance, pension, training, and development opportunities.
