About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Procurement Assistant to join our dynamic Supply Chain team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the supply chain department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Administration: Manage purchase orders, address non-conformances, and maintain electronic records to ensure smooth department operations.
  • Supplier Liaison: Expedite orders, follow up on late deliveries, and manage order acknowledgments.
  • Supplier Analysis: Conduct data analysis on delivery performance, quality, forecasts, and participate in tender exercises.
  • Supply Chain Support: Assist the wider supply chain team, including initial part setup and administrative support.
About You

This development role is ideal for someone looking to grow within procurement. While prior experience in purchasing is beneficial, it is not essential. We are open to candidates interested in pursuing an apprenticeship with CIPS qualification or those with prior experience seeking to advance their skills.

Key qualities that would benefit this position include:

  • A college diploma, degree, or previous experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
