Turbine Ancillary Equipment Specialist

Gi Group is a leading recruitment agency seeking an experienced Turbine Ancillary Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in this field, you will be responsible for performing overhauls on various turbine ancillary equipment and ensuring all repairs are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Estimated salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum.
The successful candidate will work closely with the engineering team to generate detailed initial inspection reports and rebuild and test products/components in accordance with OEM specification and company procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing repairs and maintenance on gas turbine components, including stationary repair, to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment
- Generating detailed rebuild & test reports and final inspection reports
- Using specialist test rigs such as airflow, liquid fuel, compressor, hydraulic, flow divider, drive bench/pump
Requirements:
- Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or related field/experience
- Good solid hand skills
- Ability to read technical instructions/drawings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
