Mechanical Equipment Specialist

Gi Group is a leading staffing company that specializes in the repair and manufacture of metal bearings, seals, deflectors, and other rotating equipment. We are looking to recruit an experienced Assembly and Test Fitter for our client.
The main purpose of this role is to work as a team on the shop floor to perform overhauls on various turbine ancillary equipment. Our ideal candidate will ensure all repairs are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate detailed initial inspection reports for the engineering team.
- Generate detailed rebuild & test reports and final inspection reports.
Requirements:
We are seeking an individual with an apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or related field/experience. Relevant training and experience as an Assembly and Test Fitter are essential for success in this role.
