About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Pink Tile Education Ltd. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in our school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEND, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that students with SEND are fully included in the learning process.
  • Support students with challenging behavior, using positive behavior management techniques and strategies.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and counselors, to ensure that students receive comprehensive support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to SEND.
Requirements
  • Experience working with students with SEND, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Knowledge of SEND legislation and policies, including the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
