About This Full-Time Social Work Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced social worker to join our Adult Disability and Mental Health Team in St Helens. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with individuals aged 18-67 who have physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or mental health diagnoses.

Your primary responsibility will be to carry a complex caseload, undertake safeguarding investigations, and support Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHPs). You will also be required to work out-of-hours on occasion, but don't worry - you'll receive support from our lead AMHP.

This is a temporary contract lasting two months, working 36 hours per week. While flexible working arrangements can be negotiated, we do require that you're available to start as soon as possible, subject to DBS and reference clearance.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is competitive, with a negotiable pay rate based on your experience. You can expect to earn £**25,000-£35,000** per annum, depending on your qualifications and skills.

  • A DipSW or equivalent qualification
  • HCPC registration
