We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HOLMES Coordinator to join our team at Cumbria Constabulary. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert support and guidance on the use of HOLMES, a critical tool for major investigations.

• Provide expert HOLMES training and support to staff, including the development of HOLMES use within the Constabulary.
• Coordinate the provision of HOLMES staff and IT equipment to support major investigations.
• Initiate new HOLMES databases and provide support and training to staff within Major Incident Rooms (MIRs).
• Deliver initial and refresher HOLMES training to staff.
• Travel to MIR locations across the county and require a full driving license and access to a vehicle for travel.
• Work closely with IT and regional/national partners to ensure the monitoring of HOLMES system.
• Take the lead on HOLMES thematic responsibilities and functions, including the rollout of new HOLMES releases/patches to software across the Constabulary.
• Provide Mutual Aid to other forces if required and attend national and regional HOLMES user groups/conferences as required.
• Attend and contribute to briefings and present findings, including information regarding HOLMES staffing requirements.
• Maintain and provide sufficient equipment in MIRs across the force.
• Work in partnership with internal departments to provide advice, support, and training around the use of Casualty Bureau, Child Rescue Alert, and any HOLMES-related roles within the DVI arena.

• Extensive knowledge of cloud-based/electronic HOLMES.
• Training qualifications or willingness to work towards obtaining training qualifications as part of their development in role.
