We are seeking a committed and passionate Principal Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference in improving outcomes for young people across the region.

Job Description
  • This is a community-based practitioner position, requiring you to travel throughout Coventry and Warwickshire, with access to remote and agile working arrangements.

The successful applicant will be required to provide input to the service in the form of specialist assessments and psychological interventions, team formulation, consultation, training, service evaluation, and supervision of other qualified staff.

Your role will entail working directly with service users and their families or carers, and as such, experience of working with young people who are autistic or have a learning disability and have mental health needs is essential.

In addition to providing high-quality clinical services, you will also contribute to the development of the service through research, audit, and service improvement initiatives.

Requirements
  • A postgraduate doctoral level qualification in applied psychology, with a strong understanding of highly specialised psychological therapies and assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, carers, and professional colleagues.
