We are seeking a skilled and experienced teaching assistant to join our team as a Sensory Support Assistant - Vision Impairment. The ideal candidate will have a recognized Braille qualification and prior experience of successfully supporting VI children and young people in a learning environment where Braille and pre-Braille are being used.
Key Responsibilities:- Support visually impaired children and young people in a learning environment
- Provide Braille and pre-Braille instruction
- Work in a diverse multi-cultural environment
- Offer an additional community language as well as Braille
- Recognized Braille qualification
- Prior experience of supporting VI children and young people
