Civils Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civils Project Manager to join our team at Lionsgate Contractors. As a key member of our heavy civils division, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of project financial reports and budgeting
  • Preparing bill of quantities and cost control for projects
  • Working closely with our engineer and accounts team for measuring works on site and submission of monthly valuations
  • Managing and negotiating with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the heavy civils industry
  • Experience with New Engineering Contracts (NEC)
  • Experience working with bridges and reinforced concrete
  • Relevant professional qualifications in Quantity Surveying
  • Strong knowledge of heavy civils processes and industry best practices
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent numeracy and IT skills, including competence in relevant software applications (Bluebeam/CAD/excel etc.)
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
