Job Summary

As a Senior Marine Consultant at Ramboll, you will play a key role in managing and delivering environmental inputs to our marine infrastructure and development projects. This is an exciting opportunity to support our growing portfolio of marine projects in the UK and globally.

About the Role

As a Senior Marine Consultant, you will be responsible for providing marine environmental and consenting advice to clients and multidisciplinary teams. You will also manage and coordinate multidisciplinary environmental inputs across a range of marine projects, including technical review of outputs of internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams to provide marine environmental and consenting advice.
Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary environmental inputs across a range of marine projects, including technical review of outputs of internal and external teams.
Lead and support the identification of new business opportunities and deliver associated fee proposals.
Work collaboratively across the business to provide a multidisciplinary approach to marine and coastal projects.
Assist with business development and work winning across marine and offshore projects.

Requirements

Master's degree in a related discipline (advantageous).
A strong track record in, and a passion for, the marine and offshore sector and in developing sustainable initiatives.
A thorough understanding of the various UK consenting routes together with marine policy and regulatory framework(s).
Ability to collaborate and lead multidisciplinary marine projects with a range of environmental and engineering specialists.
Good project management and organisational skills, including effective budget management.
