We are seeking a highly capable and proactive Caretaker/Maintenance person to join our team at Katherine Shields Private Staff Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the general upkeep of a large estate near Henley-on-Thames.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out general house maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
- Working independently and prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient use of time
- Collaborating with the team to achieve common goals
- Performing various tasks such as feeding the family dogs, running errands, and maintaining the estate's grounds
- Driving a company-provided vehicle for work-related tasks
Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair work
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Driver's license and a clean driving record
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of 50-55k gross per annum, negotiable based on experience
- A 5-day workweek with 40-45 hours per week
- A daily work schedule
