Job Description

Owen Daniels Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Specialist to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative robotic applications and contribute to the growth of the company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, specifically in the detail design of bespoke machinery. They will be responsible for producing innovative design solutions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and machinery safety laws.

The Senior Mechanical Design Specialist will also be involved in design risk assessments, providing guidance and supervision to team members, and assisting in enhancing design processes. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the detail design of bespoke machinery is required, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
