Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Eden Brown Synergy. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide senior nursing leadership and support to the ward nursing team in an inpatient eating disorder unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Ward Manager in providing day-to-day management and supervision of the ward, ensuring high-quality patient care and a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Implement best practice across the ward, promoting positive physical and psychological outcomes for patients.
  • Support changes within the service, contributing to service improvement and the delivery of personalized care.
  • Responsible for the clinical direction of the service, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Support the delivery of therapeutic interventions and contribute to the evaluation of their effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Active Registration with the NMC, meeting the requirements of Revalidation.
  • Clinical Supervision experience essential, training desirable.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development and intent to maintain and develop leadership skills.
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Good computer skills, with experience of using electronic patient records and other clinical systems.
  • At least 3 years' experience post-registration, with a strong background in mental health or learning disability services.
