Commercial Lending Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our team at Paragon Bank. As a Commercial Account Underwriter, you will play a key role in supporting the intermediary sales channel and helping our customers achieve their business ambitions.
Key Responsibilities- Build strong relationships with introductory sources to support SME Lending and help UK SMEs access funding.
- Utilize your commercial lending experience to assess and manage risk, ensuring the bank's assets are protected.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
We are looking for an individual with:
- Strong commercial lending experience in both secured and unsecured lending.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
- A deep understanding of funding options and lending structures.
