Job Title: Senior Communications Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Communications Consultant to join our team at Mindfully Wired Consulting. As a key member of our Science & Policy team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality communications and events for a range of projects focused on marine management, fisheries, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of events-centred projects, managing all aspects of client business, from developing and executing communications and events strategies to maintaining strong client relationships and project management.
  • Develop and execute bespoke communications and social media strategies and content, and maintain communications channels for clients.
  • Produce high-quality written outputs, including conference reports, policy briefs, briefing documents, conference agendas, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Copyedit and proofread a diverse range of materials.
  • Plan, design, and deliver online and in-person events for diverse projects relating to fisheries and the marine environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading projects and delivering high-quality events.
  • Top-notch organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and handle a variety of projects and tasks while maintaining high standards.
  • Confident with IT and not afraid to troubleshoot technical equipment during events.
  • Previous knowledge of fisheries, seafood, or marine conservation issues.
