Special Needs Education Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with moderate learning difficulties, autism, and communication difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Support students academically and emotionally to help them achieve their full potential
- Encourage positive social interactions and help students build effective relationships with their peers
- Enhance students' communication skills and provide pastoral care
- Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive classroom environment
- Caring and nurturing attitude with a positive approach to supporting students with additional needs
- Previous experience working with children and/or adults with additional needs (desirable)
- Relevant degree in a field such as Psychology, Criminology, or Health & Social Care (desirable)
- Opportunity to further your SEN experience and progress to roles such as SEN Teacher, Speech and Language Therapist, Autism Practitioner, or Educational Psychologist
- Competitive daily rate of £80-£90
