Job Title: Band 5 Mental Health Services Nurse

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and committed mental health nurse to join their dynamic team within one of their world-class hospitals in London – Newham Hospital.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified mental health nurse to undertake a challenging role within one of London's leading centres for healthcare and gain invaluable skills by working across multiple sites and specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with a range of mental health issues.
  • Work collaboratively with a highly qualified team to deliver medical care and support to patients across London communities.
  • Develop and maintain robust clinical knowledge and skills to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment that promotes excellence in patient care.

Requirements:

  • NMC Registration
  • At least 6 months NHS experience in the last 3 years, and experience working within the mental healthcare department
  • Robust clinical knowledge, strong initiative, and a proactive approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Honesty and integrity, and a very caring patient-centred approach
