We are looking for an Accounting and Reporting Professional to join our team at Bright Horizons UK. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of client contract revenue and billing.

Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annum

The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding and analysing monthly client revenue fluctuations, and reporting balances by client for unbilled and deferred revenue. You will also ensure timely and accurate posting of accounting transactions, adhering to monthly and quarterly deadlines.

About the Role:

  • You will record client contract financial terms into the ERP system, ensuring revenue and billing are generated correctly.
  • You will collaborate with Client Relations and Legal to understand and implement contract terms for written and auto renewal agreements.
  • You will analyse and explain client revenue fluctuations in the monthly P&L, identifying reasons for any discrepancies.
  • You will evidence controls to management and Internal and External auditors, maintaining transparency and accountability.

About You:

  • You will have a strong background in finance, with experience in data analysis and accounting principles.
  • You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain complex financial information to non-finance staff.
  • You will be able to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with other departments to achieve common goals.
