About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and developing trusted relationships with current and potential clients. You will deliver financial planning and wealth management advice, working within the context of an agreed business plan.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members
  • Monitoring team performance, mentoring, and supporting staff
  • Leading a team
  • Executing the annual Business Plan in line with agreed individual targets
  • Building new client relationships and maintaining and developing existing client relationships through effective ongoing service
  • Structuring and leading client meetings in a professional manner
  • Ensuring clients have the right advice to achieve their financial objectives
  • Ensuring comprehensive client records are kept and are accurate and up-to-date at all times

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience within a Financial Planning/Advisory role
  • Experience of people management as a Team Leader
  • Proven ability to deal with new and existing clients on a fee basis
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to analyse client information and highlight requirements to make suitable recommendations
  • Technical/product knowledge and effective communication of wide-ranging holistic financial planning strategies and solutions
  • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise work
  • Experience of operating within a risk management framework

Qualifications

You should hold a minimum of a relevant level 4 qualification or above (aspiring for Level 7) and maintain an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing.
