Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop trusted relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Deliver financial planning and wealth management advice.
  • Work within the context of an agreed business plan.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Monitor team performance, mentor, and support staff.
  • Lead a team.
  • Execute the annual Business Plan in line with agreed individual targets.
  • Build new client relationships and maintain and develop existing client relationships.
  • Structure and lead client meetings in a professional manner.
  • Ensure clients have the right advice to achieve their financial objectives.
  • Work in partnership with Investment Management and Professional Services colleagues.
  • Maintain comprehensive client records.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a Financial Planning/Advisory role.
  • Experience of people management as a Team Leader.
  • Proven ability to deal with new and existing clients on a fee basis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to analyse client information and highlight requirements.
  • Technical/product knowledge and effective communication of holistic financial planning strategies and solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work.
  • Experience of operating within a risk management framework.

Qualifications

  • Holds a minimum of a relevant level 4 qualification or above.
