Global Investment Researcher

As a key member of the Goldman Sachs team, the Global Investment Researcher will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data related to asset markets, including equities, economic, and political events. The successful candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis and a proven ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns in asset markets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior portfolio strategists and other members of the Europe Portfolio Strategy team and Asset Allocation Strategy team
  • Collaborate with macro and single-stock groups within research to identify investment opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with the Equities and FICC sales force/traders and external clients to provide insights and recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or accounting
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in statistical analysis and data interpretation
  • Proficiency in the use of external databases, including Bloomberg, Reuters, CEIC, DataStream, FactSet, and Haver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner

  • Flexible and able to work well under pressure, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
