Job Title: Director of Corporate Affairs

Cera is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Director of Corporate Affairs, covering maternity leave for a period of four months. This is a fixed-term contract, requiring a full-time commitment with a hybrid working arrangement (two days a week in our London office).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Cera's due diligence processes, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Lead the Communications team, focusing on building compelling external and internal communications, aligning all comms platforms.
  • Drive strategic priorities across Cera's teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring cross-functional goals are prioritized.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, the Board, and Advisory Board.
  • Establish and maintain effective government relations.
  • Collaborate closely with the PR and social media team to ensure cohesive messaging.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects, leveraging expertise to drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in leadership roles, with a strong track record of spearheading strategic initiatives.
  • Proven ability to work across teams, leveraging external audiences and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Fundraising and due diligence process management experience, either as an investor or within a high-growth company.
  • Effective project management skills, with the ability to multitask and deliver under pressure.

Nice to Have

  • Health tech experience, with a deep understanding of the sector.
  • Knowledge of the health and social care sector, with a proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
  • Previous Chief of Staff or Head of Strategic Initiatives experience, with a strong track record of driving business growth.
