We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Tutor to join our team at Cardiff Metropolitan University. As an Associate Tutor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students in the field of sports rehabilitation and physiotherapy.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching materials that meet the needs of our students.
  • To provide expert guidance and support to students in the classroom and through one-to-one tutorials.
  • To assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
  • To contribute to the development of our curriculum and ensure that it remains relevant and up-to-date.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that our teaching and learning practices are of the highest quality.

Requirements

  • A good honours degree and/or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field.
  • Experience of teaching and assessing students in a higher education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to stay up-to-date with developments in the field of sports rehabilitation and physiotherapy.
  • A strong understanding of pedagogy and the ability to design and deliver teaching and learning experiences that meet the needs of diverse learners.
