Job Title: Activity Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Activity Coordinator to join our team at Fairlie Healthcare, a leading provider of high-quality care for adults with neurological conditions.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leisure and recreation activities for patients, promoting their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This will involve planning and delivering a range of activities, including arts and crafts, animals, garden, sports, games, dance and movement, drama, music, and community outings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver leisure and recreation activities for patients with neurological disabilities or illnesses.
  • Use a variety of meaningful activities to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
  • Organize community outings to improve and maintain patients' physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
  • Assist patients with different recreation/leisure activities to reduce their level of depression, stress, anxiety, and to improve basic motor functioning.
  • Teach patients with disabilities how to use community resources and other recreational activities to integrate into the community.
Requirements:
  • Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
  • Previous experience in the UK.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • A passion for caring for others.
  • Ability to work constructively as part of a team and understand your role and responsibilities.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to undertake further training and development.
