We are seeking a First-Class Psychology Graduate to join our team at an esteemed Primary School in East London. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to the education and development of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The ideal candidate will hold a First-Class degree in Psychology from a Top UK University and have career goals aligned with becoming an Educational or Clinical Psychologist. Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, is essential. A patient and empathetic personality is also crucial for this role.

As a valued member of our SEND team, you will benefit from working alongside qualified professionals, including Specialist Teachers and Educational Psychologists. You will have the opportunity to work with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASC), ADHD, and non-verbal pupils. Salary Estimate: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the SEND team to develop and implement strategies to support pupils with SEN
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of educational programs tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers and therapists, to ensure comprehensive support for pupils
  • Assist in assessing and monitoring pupil progress, using data to inform teaching practices
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents and carers to ensure seamless communication and support
