IT Modern Workplace Services Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to lead our modern workplace services team. As a key member of our Information Services department, you will be responsible for providing technical and team leadership in the delivery of enterprise-wide IT modern workplace services to our staff and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Manage the design and project delivery of new modern workplace services, engaging with the Museum to understand how core modern workplace solutions are consumed and making recommendations on how to improve the end user experience.
- Operational Support: Ensure the team maintains availability and performance of our IT modern workplace solutions, liaising with senior managers, 3rd line colleagues, and service delivery staff to resolve ITIL incidents and problems effectively.
- Vendor Management: Ensure excellent functioning relationships with main software and application suppliers, managing vendors through selection processes, establishing operational SLAs and KPIs.
- Process and Policy: Ensure the team follows appropriate policies and procedures to deliver services and change control, contributing to operational and project budgeting.
About You:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Technical skills in Cloud SAAS, Microsoft Office 365, software management, and provisioning.
- Previous work experience as a Senior Applications Analyst or Senior Modern Workplace Engineer.
- Managerial skills in team leadership, project delivery, and vendor management.
- Interpersonal skills in communication, teamwork, and analytical thinking.
