Job Description
In this esteemed nursing role at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care. As a Clinical Sister, you will lead by example, guiding your team to provide compassionate and evidence-based care.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding patient outcomes. You will be required to attend and complete mandatory training online and face-to-face, as well as participate in the comprehensive induction programme and role-specific training offered by the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prompt assessment of adult patients.
  • Planning and delivery of nursing care that reflects current patient care needs.
  • Participate in teaching/training of more junior staff.
  • Follow policy and procedure accurately for Safeguarding adults.
  • To use all electronic systems as per departmental policy.
  • To participate in all training and ensure compliance is high.
  • To act within the medicines management trust policy.
