Role: Examinations Manager
Location: Bedford College
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Examinations Manager to join our Exams and Achievement Department at Bedford College. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our examinations and implementing JCQ and other awarding body regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the integrity of examinations
- Implement JCQ and other awarding body regulations
- Deputise/cover for the Group Head of Exams
- Line manage examinations staff
- Facilitate the delivery of examinations
- Manage invigilator bookings and timetabling
- Coordinate result dispatch and achievement data recording
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Significant experience of using computerised databases
- Experience of working with confidential documentation
- Good administrative experience
- Experience of working in a customer-facing environment
- Recent experience of using Microsoft Excel
