About the Role
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team. As a key member of the Anaesthetic Directorate, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic services to patients across the health board.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake elective theatre lists and provide 24-hour cover for emergency surgery, trauma, and obstetrics
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in the anaesthetics on-call rota at the Grange University Hospital
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance policies and procedures
Requirements
- Full registration and a licence to practice with the GMC
- Membership of the GMC Specialist Register (including via CESR/European Community Rights) or a CCT/CESR(CP) date within 6 months of interview
- Enhanced check with barred list information, including adults and children's barred list check
