Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled LGV Class 1 driver to join our team in a temporary assignment with Royal Mail. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting mail and parcels around the network, working to tight schedules and maintaining high levels of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport mail and parcels around the network
  • Work to tight schedules and maintain high levels of safety
  • Be flexible to work all requested shifts within contract duration

What We Offer:

  • A rota based on any 5 out of 7 days with a minimum of 8 hours daily
  • A 6th shift will be available where legally possible
  • Mileage paid from home address to and from allocated hotel at start and end of assignment
  • Block-booked paid hotel accommodation, including breakfast and 1 meal per day
  • £15 per day subsistence payment
  • Weekly relocation payment accrued and paid at end of assignment
  • PAYE pay rates from £22.48 to £25.88 per hour

Requirements:

  • Current CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Held a LGV Class 1 licence for 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points on your licence
