Job Summary:

The role of the Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Driver and Loader is a vital part of Veolia's operations. As an HGV Driver and Loader, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading goods from vehicles, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, and adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate HGV vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods and materials to various locations.
  • Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of materials.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and mileage.
  • Collaborate with the Veolia team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid Class C (Cat C) driver's license.
  • Have previous experience as an HGV driver or Loader.
  • Be able to lift and handle heavy materials.
  • Have excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Be a team player with excellent communication skills.
