About Humble Grape

We're a wine bar and restaurant that's passionate about making wine socially inclusive and approachable to everyone. We focus on the customer and share the stories behind our many wines.

We import the majority of our wines directly from the vineyard, and we're proud to offer organic/biodynamic or sustainably produced wines. Not only is this better for the environment, we think it makes better, more diverse wine.

We're equally passionate about the food we produce, using seasonal and organic products and a strong mindset to zero-waste food production.

The Role

We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic team member to join our team as an Apprentice Wine Supervisor. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, working closely with our wine team to create a memorable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide top-quality service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  2. Work closely with our wine team to create a unique and engaging experience for our guests.
  3. Assist with wine service, including pouring, serving, and recommending wines.
  4. Help maintain a clean and organized wine bar, including restocking and inventory management.
  5. Participate in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  1. Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
  2. Passion for wine and a willingness to learn.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
  5. Good command of English.
  6. Excellent grooming and presentation.
  7. The right to work in the United Kingdom.
