AWE Plc is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Systems Specialist to provide expert engineering services across its plant and equipment.

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the delivery of engineered solutions within the operational lifecycle phase.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply extensive expertise in mechanical building services and associated plant to oversee the development and implementation of sound, safe solutions.
  • Review or originate modification packages, manage or review configured plant changes, and ensure compliance with relevant technical standards and legislation.
  • Demonstrate leadership in escalating business risk or opportunities arising from the condition of engineered systems and structures in the interests of safety, regulatory compliance, quality, and reliability.
  • Plan, manage, and collaborate to deliver solutions that enable the successful completion of projects and programmes.
  • Provide advice, guidance, progress reports, and supporting documentation to stakeholders.
  • Analyse relevant metrics and contribute to Key Performance Indicators and other reporting as required.
  • Assist in Reliability Centred Maintenance planning and perform Root Cause Analysis.
Requirements:

We are looking for individuals with a minimum qualification L4 NQF (HNC) and suitable additional experience, preferably with a degree in an engineering discipline and chartered status.
