Job Title: Design and Development Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Design and Development Engineer to join our team at Contechs. As a key member of our Design, Development and Industrialization (DDI) Department, you will be responsible for the design, development, and sign-off of powertrain components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop powertrain components using CAD software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex problems
  • Support the development of FMEA and design verification test plans
  • Analyze test data results and impact on design
  • Prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Understanding of vehicle/powertrain system and component requirements
  • Awareness of GD&T, FMEA, DVP&R, and 8D Techniques
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
