Civil and Infrastructure Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Midlands, United Kingdom. As a key member of our Civil Engineering Design firm, you will be responsible for taking the lead on smaller schemes and working with seniors on larger, more complex schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and project management of infrastructure projects within the Roads and Drainage sector
  • Technical expertise in design and implementation of SuDS, surface, and foul water drainage systems
  • Collaboration with senior engineers on larger projects and management of smaller schemes and technicians
  • Liaison with external bodies, including water authorities, EA, LLFA, Highways, and Planning
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 4 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure design and project management
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering infrastructure projects within budget and timeline
  • Software experience – AutoCAD, Civil 3D not essential, Causeway Flow / Microdrainage
Benefits:
  • Holidays – 25 days (3 to be taken during the Christmas period) – additional 1 day for Birthday (non-transferable)
  • Pension – Pension contributions in line with current government guidance
  • Bonus – Bonus is 5% of salary and is paid twice yearly, normally around March and September time
