Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Senior Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer to join our Platform team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it's scalable, reliable, and secure.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using OKD, OpenShift, or Kubernetes
  • Develop infrastructure as code using common languages and tooling, including Linux
  • Collaborate with the team to improve the reliability, scalability, and security of our container platform
  • Proactively monitor the health of the platform and improve visibility
  • Investigate platform issues, ensuring timely remediation and escalation when necessary
  • Coach and mentor other engineers, promoting continuous learning and improvement
  • Stay current with trends and best practices in the FinTech industry, driving process improvements

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with OKD, OpenShift, or Kubernetes administration, including containerized workload management
  • Developing infrastructure as code using common languages and tooling, including Linux
  • Background in working with clustered, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems
  • Working knowledge of at least one commercial cloud platform, e.g., AWS, Azure, Digital Ocean
  • Pragmatic problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail and communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills, with a willingness to share knowledge and expertise
