About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Personal Assistant to support a disabled individual in their daily life. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the individual's quality of life by providing assistance with daily tasks and offering emotional support.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments or social events. You will also provide a friendly and understanding presence, accompany the individual on days out, and engage in activities together.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with daily tasks, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
  • Accompanying the individual on days out and engaging in activities together.
  • Providing a friendly and understanding presence.
  • Offering emotional support and companionship.
  • Performing other reasonable duties as requested.

Requirements:
  • You must be a full UK driving license holder with appropriate business insurance cover.
  • Calm, reassuring, caring, and patient demeanor is essential.
  • You should understand the need for confidentiality in all areas of work.

Benefits:
  • Hourly rate: £11.68 per hour.
  • Working hours: 10 hours per week, times to be discussed further at interview.
  • Holiday entitlement: Equivalent to 5.6 consecutive weeks' work.
