Lead Network Project for High-Security CCTV and Access Control System

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a highly skilled Networks & Infrastructure Engineer to lead a high-impact network project, designing and managing infrastructure for a high-security CCTV and Access Control system connected to the Met Police.

This is a thrilling challenge for a Networks & Infrastructure Engineer looking to make a real difference. As a key member of the team, you will be hands-on, spearheading critical network transitions and ensuring the smooth, secure operation of a system at the heart of public safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build-out, and support of network infrastructure that powers a mission-critical CCTV and Access Control system.
  • Oversee the migration of network equipment from Cisco to Aruba, driving technology evolution.
  • Use Hyper-V or VMware to support virtual environments driving the system.
  • Collaborate with the Met Police to ensure seamless operation of the CCTV network.
Requirements:
  • CCNA-Level Expertise: Proven experience with Cisco networking technologies and firewalls.
  • Network Migration Experience: You've transitioned from Cisco to Aruba and are ready to lead more groundbreaking projects.
  • Onsite Commitment: Ability to work onsite 3 days a week, ensuring optimal network performance.
