Painter Job Description

At Sea Containers London, we are seeking a skilled Painter to join our maintenance team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of our hotel through high-quality painting and finishing work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.
  • Paint Application: Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces such as walls, ceilings, doors, and furniture.
  • Colour and Finish: Mix and match paints to achieve the desired colour and finish.
  • Touch-ups and Repairs: Carry out touch-ups and repairs to maintain the appearance of painted surfaces.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule painting work with minimal disruption to hotel operations.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure all painting work is completed to the highest standards, with attention to detail and a focus on quality. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Inspections and Maintenance: Perform regular inspections of painted surfaces throughout the hotel and address any issues promptly. Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed, contributing to the overall upkeep of the property.
