Apprentice Role

In this apprenticeship program, you will develop your skills and knowledge in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering while working on real-world projects.

As a Technical Engineering Trainee, you will assist experienced engineers, learn from them, and take on increasing responsibilities as you progress through the program.

About the Apprenticeship
  • Year one: Attend a local college to learn engineering fundamentals and participate in field visits during term breaks, led by an assigned mentor.
  • Year three and four: Continue college studies one day a week and work on rotation within the field, solidifying learning and taking on more responsibilities.

Estimated Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, based on location and performance.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Level or Btec equivalent
  • 5 GCSEs at grade A-C, including Maths & English

Main Responsibilities:

  • Apply technical skills and knowledge in real-world projects
  • Pass required college courses for accreditation
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers
  • Adhere to safety standards and IT security policies
  • Exhibit professional behavior, aligned with Roche's expectations
