Job Overview

The Group Consolidation Specialist/Consolidation Reporting Lead role at Armstrong Knight is a senior position that requires extensive experience in consolidating large numbers of entities, subsidiaries, and joint ventures. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the group consolidation process, preparing quarterly consolidated management reports, and leading the preparation of group statutory audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning the group consolidation process, including preparing consolidated group accounts across c150 entities, including Joint Venture and entity (UK and other territories) statutory accounts.
  • Preparing quarterly Consolidated management reports in a timely manner with underlying analysis around key areas & performing quarterly balance sheet reconciliation reviews.
  • Liaising with Investments and Legal to prepare forward projections on a rolling 3 month basis to assist with cash flows and lending requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with FRS102, preparing technical papers for review and circulation on business activities and associated accounting treatment.
  • Undertaking a technical review of accounting standards and assessing their impact on Group accounting policies and reporting.
About You
  • A qualified ACA/ACCA/ACMA Accountant with extensive PQE Experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of GAAP (UK GAAP/FRS102 essential).
  • PQE Experience of consolidating a large number of entities- subsidiaries and joint ventures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Problem solving, innovative thinking, able to see the wider business and commercial implications of ideas/projects.
  • Well-organised, able to manage complex projects and enable/monitor the contribution of others.
What We Offer

A competitive salary range £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.
