Job Description

As a Night Office Administrator at Chorley Vehicle Operating Centre, you will play a crucial role in supporting a safe, efficient, and cost-effective fleet. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring the Distribution Management System is updated, and data is correctly input daily. You will also be responsible for keeping Isotrak, Business Asset Tracker, and Vision FTA updated and data accurately input for compliance with European Legislation.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is £26,164. This reflects market-leading pay and benefits for the sector. Overtime pay is offered at 1.25x the normal hourly rate, and employees receive 5 days' holiday, rising with length of service. A contributory pension scheme, opportunities for career development, and full uniform provided after three months of employment are included in the package.

Essential Duties
  • Maintain accurate records and update the Distribution Management System daily.
  • Ensure Isotrak, Business Asset Tracker, and Vision FTA are kept up-to-date and data accurately input for compliance with European Legislation.
  • Download digital tacho cards as per Royal Mail policy.
  • Understand and apply safety and legal requirements, including drivers' hours legislation, vehicle checks, Safe Systems of Work, risk assessments, and accident investigation.
  • Skilled in using computer software, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Able to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
