About the Role

The School of Natural and Built Environment at Queen's University Belfast is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lecturer in Architecture to join our team. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, research, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and assess students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, delivering modules in Design, Technology, and Professional Skills.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of curriculum content, enhancing student employability and the overall student experience.
  • Participate in research activities, securing external funding, publishing in leading peer-reviewed journals, and generating research impact and public engagement.
  • Supervise PhD students and contribute to the School's research profile.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant design-based professional discipline.
  • Significant record of evidenced achievement in design outputs.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership of a relevant professional institute.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality teaching and contributing to architectural design and technology programmes.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively with a high level of graphic and design awareness.
